Why I Decided to Write About Atlantis?

The Lost City of Atlantis Book Series Atlantis is the story of the lands where I was born. Some stories call upon the writer. And Atlantis called me—a long, long time ago. Writers are mortal; what they write is immortal. Atlantis is immortal, but what had been written about it was mortal.
I did not choose Atlantis because it was lost.
I chose it because it refused to be erased.
It is a legend told for centuries. That is exactly what fascinated me.
A city may perish…
But can its memory live on?
A civilization may collapse…
But can its story rise again?
Could there be an invisible bond between the real world and the legend?
Writing about Atlantis allowed me to explore parallel worlds, time spirals, forgotten civilizations, and that thin line where myth and reality intersect. In this universe, science and mythology can stand side by side. Children can ask the deepest questions. And imagination can turn into a bridge connecting two worlds.
To me, Atlantis is not a “lost city”; it is a city that still breathes. My aim with this series is not to recount an old legend. It is to build a living universe.
A universe where characters grow, question, make mistakes, and learn. A universe where mythology speaks with technology, the past with the future, and the tale with the truth.
Yes, some cities do not vanish.
They simply continue to live in another form.
And some stories…
Wait for the right time to be told again.
